No one asked…

But we’ve got answers anyway

What time does the ceremony start?

The ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM.

Please try to arrive no later than 5 pm.

If you plan to drive up from the East Bay or the airport please budget time for traffic, we’re sorry!

Is there parking available?

Yes! There is a large dedicated lot at the venue.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes!

Children are welcome, but we kindly ask that they leave by 9:30 PM so we can enjoy our favorite music.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to the intimacy of the event, we are unable to extend invites for plus ones. We’re only expecting those listed on the envelope! We hope that you understand.

What’s the dress code?

Welcome Party:

Come as you are - we know people are traveling that day.

Bride will be a little dressed up for fun, but you don’t need to be!

Wedding:

Chat GPT defines semi-formal as:

"Semi-formal" is a dress code that’s more polished than casual, but not as formal as black-tie attire. For events, it typically means:

  • For men: A suit or a dress shirt with trousers (a tie is optional). A blazer or sport coat is also common, but optional.

  • For women: A cocktail dress, dressy skirt and top, or a formal pantsuit. Dresses typically don’t need to be floor-length but should be more refined than casual wear.

It will be warm!

What’s the venue like?

The venue is a beautiful garden!

The ceremony takes place on a semi-shaded lawn.

The cocktail hour is also outdoors.

Dinner is served under a covered tent and dancing takes place under a covered barn with heating.

We recommend sunglasses or a hat for the sun.

What’s the food & drink situation at the Welcome Party?

We’ll have appetizers like sliders, skewers, and fries, and drinks will be covered until we hit our minimum. If you’re still hungry, there’ll be a small menu with more food you can order — just a heads up, anything from that menu or any extra drinks after the minimum will be on you.
